Las Vegas Nevada

The Entertainment Capital of the World

Do you want a fun vacation for the whole family?  A romantic getaway? An action packed adventure? Las Vegas, Nevada has something for everyone!

Las Vegas is an internationally known major resort city for entertainment, shopping, and gambling. The most populous city in the state of Nevada, Las Vegas is the county seat for Clark County. The Las Vegas proper is believed to rank as the 28th largest city in the United States and is growing rapidly every year. Over 30 million people visit Las Vegas annually.

There are massive casino resorts both on and off the strip. The major attractions in Las Vegas are the casinos. They have copied many landmarks in the world. Where else can you see Paris, Venice, Egypt and even New York all in the same day?

The city is located in a desert basin that is surrounded by mountains. While inside the city limits, you will see a lot of green lawns, trees, xeriscapes and other greenery along with the big casino complexes and neon lights. When you drive out a few miles, then you realize you are in a desert. The average year round temperature is 67 degrees even with the desert..

The Stratosphere Tower is the tallest structure in the city which stands 1,149 feet on the north end of the strip. The tower also is considered the tallest observation tower in the United States at this time.

Scenes along Las Vegas Blvd are varied and beautiful. From rows of palm trees to glittering buildings and casinos, Las Vegas is awaiting your arrival for a fun weekend or longer!
